Amrut Leicester

Food was better then expected as a lot of these new places look amazing but the food lacks the punchy flavours I’m used too. Mixy - 7/10 Veg Starter - 7/10 Chicken Curry - 8/10 Defo worth a visit - if you’re in town. Service was ok - waiters not knowing what’s in the curry’s, nor did my 2 drinks come at same time (they forgot about the coke).

Had the best experience with Indian food in the UK. The variety, the flavours, the ambience and the service, everything was top notch. The momos took me back to India and the gajar ka halwa was the most unique and tasty Indian desert i have had. After having Amrut as my go to place for Indian food, I finally decided to give a shoutout to such amazingg chefs, their even more amazing culinary skills and the service and warmth the entire place offers .

Amazing food and atmosphere. Sitting arrangement is very nice specially ground sofas. We ordered chatakedar gobhi manchurian, chilli chicken in starters , which was good . But I liked main course the most , patiyala chicken was mind blowing. I loved the mutka kulfi ( presentation was top notch) . Will surely visit again . Brilliant customer service.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Amrut, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! We were seated in a special area called Machaan, which roughly translates to 'royal seating', adding an extra touch of luxury to our dining experience! The starters were phenomenal - the Vegetarian Platter, Avocado Tuk, and Dahi Ke Shole were absolutely amazing. The Crispy Corn Chat was also a highlight, with just the right balance of crunch and flavor. But what really stole the show was the Amrut Special Chilly Chicken - it was incredibly good! The mains were top-class, with the Paneer Makhni, Dal Makhni, and Patiyala Chicken being standout dishes. Dessert was a sweet finale, with the Beetroot Gajar Halwa Roll being a game-changer. As my little one aptly put it, it was "out of this universe"! What truly made our experience special, though, was the warm hospitality. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the owner and chef took the time to come over and interact with us, ensuring we had a wonderful time. Overall, Amrut is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious food and exceptional service. We'll definitely be back!

From start to finish, everything was absolutely flawless, and I’m so grateful we took our friend’s recommendation to visit—it was worth every moment! The ease of making a reservation set the tone for the evening. The staff was courteous and accommodating, ensuring our table was ready upon arrival. When we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and the ambiance was perfect—elegant yet inviting, with just the right atmosphere for a special celebration. What truly stood out was the genuine care and attention we received. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel important, even remembering it was my wife’s birthday and adding little thoughtful touches to mark the occasion. Now, the highlight: the food. Every dish was nothing short of spectacular, rivaling high-end fine dining in both presentation and taste, yet at a surprisingly reasonable price. The flavors were exquisite, with each bite delivering a perfect balance of creativity and tradition. We ordered a variety of dishes, and every single one impressed—from the starters (which had us all raving) to the mains (cooked to perfection) and the decadent desserts that ended the night on a sweet note. Absolutely brilliant food and service. We had all but 2 of the starters and they were all individually independent in taste and presentation. The mains were also really on point on taste and flavour. The culinary extravagance not only provided a flair of luxury but reminded us of the taste from Mumbai. It shows that the Kitchen and management team have everything planned and prepared with a lot of thought behind it. The service team is a example for other places looking for something to learn about Indian hospitality. Keep up the great work guys, will definitely visit again

One of the finest restaurants in Leicester. We recently celebrated my brothers birthday with family.Amazing food for non-vegetarians and vegetarians. Lamb biryani and curry was delicious also vegetarian dishes were great. The desserts were very tasty and some of them never seen in any restaurants. The atmosphere was good and all the staff were excellent and attentive. Also chef came around couple of times to ask if food and all was ok. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely go back.

Get yourself down there! Food is gorgeous, service excellent and there is a lively atmosphere. The walk to the venue is feels a bit run down,not enough busy bars, there are just loads of delivery bikers.
